The campaign is inspired by cinematic 1970s Parisian glamour and conveys the darker, subversive side of femininity. Meisel lenses model Raquel Zimmermann in the old-world glamour of New York City's Waldorf Astoria and captures a scene of stolen, or perhaps forbidden, romance. This campaign also features men's collection product in conjunction with the launch of Jimmy Choo men's shoes.

The collection of Jimmy Choo shoes and handbags takes its cue from the early '70s and the sultry stars of the time; icons Catherine Deneuve, Charlotte Rampling, and Veruschka, all admired as much for their beauty and style on-camera, as for their allure and innate sense of style off-camera.

Beyonce appears on one of the covers for Complex Magazine's August / September edition. This week, Complex has given readers little tastes here and there with the spread, the cover, interviews, and the cover story.






She states:

“There is room on this earth for many queens. I have an authentic, God-given talent, drive, and longevity that will always separate me from everyone else. I’ve been fortunate to accomplish things that the younger generation of queens dream of accomplishing. I have no desire for anyone else’s throne. I am very comfortable in the throne I’ve been building for the past 15 years.”

Kim Kardashian goes old school Hollywood glam

The reality star goes old Hollywood glamour on the set of her new fragrance commercial and photo shoot, wearing curled hair tied back in a scarf with cat-eye sunglasses.

Kim Kardashian tweeted excitedly about the campaign, saying, “Shooting my fragrance ad campaign today! The commercial went great, now its the photo shoot! I will send u guys some cute pics!” She kept her promise, tweeting two hours later: “The photo shoot is off to a good start! Gonna be a fun day! Have a great day everyone!” and attaching the twit pic of herself being made-up for the shoot!


She looks fabulous for the shoot with simple makeup, allowing her hairstyle to keep with the glam theme. I can’t wait to see the final commercial and pictures!
